Welcome
This blog is mainly about woodturning with some good quotes thrown in and some travel stuff.
You can see some of my turnings here.
I’m a semi-retired academic who continues to teach part-time in programs in medicine and health sciences.
I also spend a lot of time rehabbing old bench chisels and planes and have developed a practical interest in sharpening and lapping methods as a result.
My other loves are sportsbike riding in the hills around Melbourne, Australia, and cross-country ski touring and telemarking.
